Diagnosis
The current value &V2& cannot be correctly checked for characteristicV1.
The characteristic is also saved in the BW system. However, either theBW system currently cannot be accessed, or the parameters coming from BWare contradictory.

System Response
You can still save the value. It is checked using a list of uncriticalcharacters. This check is very restrictive.

Procedure
Run transaction SM59 (Display and Maintain RFC Destinations) to ensurethat all BW systems that are involved can be accessed.
Run transaction RSKC (Maintain Permitted Characters) to check thesettings in the BW systems.
