SAP Message UGMD039 - Char. &3: &1 is being used in BW &4 and cannot be deleted

Diagnosis You wanted to delete value &V1& of characteristic &V3&. However, thisvalue is still in use in BW at the RFC destination &V4&. System Response The value cannot be deleted in this BW system. The system will,however, delete the value locally and in any other BW systems. Procedure Delete all applications of the value &V1& for the InfoObject &V2& inthe BW system and then synchronize the master data with BW.
