SAP Message UGMD016 - The value &2 is invalid for characteristic &1

Diagnosis
Characteristic &V1& has no master record with the value &V2&.
(The non-existing value was stored as an attribute for characteristicV3 and value v4.)

Procedure

  • If you entered characteristic value &V2& by mistake, correct your entry.

  • If you want to use characteristic value &V2&, you must first create a
    • corresponding master record in master data maintenance.
