Diagnosis
Characteristic &V1& is compounded with independent characteristics,which means that a value of the characteristic is only valid inconjunction with one or more values of the independent characteristics.
Two different situations may currently exist:

• The characteristic value you entered is valid - that is, there is a
characteristic value that matches the selection of characteristics.However, it is not valid in conjunction with the value (or values) ofthe independent characteristics.

• The characteristic value is invalid - that is, there is no
characteristic value that matches the selection of characteristics. (Forexample, maybe you selected a range of characteristics that has no validcharacteristic values and, thus, the range is empty.)

Procedure
Either call up input help and select a valid value, or specify a validcombination of characteristics.
