Diagnosis
The method assignment for task &V1& is inconsistent: Methods havealready been assigned to the task and are period category-dependent.However, the methods come from different period category groups. Sinceat a given date all methods have to come from a single period categorygroup, the current status is therefore inconsistent.
Note: Such inconsistencies always arise if you assign methods tothe task for, say, time period A (such as 012/2002) and, afterwards
, you assign more methods for an earlier time period B (suchas 012/2001). And different period category groups are used for timeperiods A and B.

System Response
The system will delete all methods that do not belong to periodcategory group &V2&.

Procedure
This inconsistency can be cleaned up in any of the following ways:f

• Delete the method assignment and make new fssignments while using the
desired period category group.

• However, if period category group &V2& is the correct period category
group as per the current date, you can alternatively accept the methodassignments directly by saving.
To prevent inconsistencies from arising in future, you should alwaysstart by maintaining the method assignments made for earlier points intime before those made for later points in time when working on methodassignments relating to different points in time.
