Diagnosis
The fiscal year variant inthe consolidation area, &V1&, differs from that in the master data a
dministration of the Master Data Framework (MDF), &V2&. This applies atleast to field &V4& (&V3&). When time-dependent hierachies are accessed,data must be converted because the periods are not id
entical.

Procedure
Where possible, use the same fiscal year variant in the consolidation ar
ea and in master data administration of the MDF. You make this settingin the Implementation Guide (IMG) for the Master Data Framework:
