Diagnosis
You want to link attribute &V2& of characteristic &V1& with localattribute &V3&. Note that although the assignment of the values of thisattribute to the characteristic values of characteristic &V1& in theconsolidation system is time-dependent, there is no exact date thatreflects the change. (An example would be because the assignment isdependent only on the fiscal year, but not the period.) However, at thesame time, the technical storage of the assignment in SAP BW isdependent on a specific date. Thus, the system converts a representativeperiod (for example, that last posting period of the current fiscalyear) into a date using the fiscal year variant.
This can cause undesired results if the characteristic &V1& issimultaneously used in consolidation areas that have different fiscalyear variants.

System Response
If, indeed, more than one fiscal year variant is used in theconsolidation areas of data basis &V4&, the system displays this messageas a warning. Otherwise, this message is merely informational.

Procedure
Check whether you really want to use characteristic &V1& inconsolidation areas with different fiscal year variants. If you do,decide whether the link to the local attribute is still desired, despitethe functional restrictions mentioned above.
