Navigation attributes are automatically defined as selection attributesin the consolidation system. An exception to this is when the attributecan be linked to a local selection attribute. In this case, you candefine the navigation attribute as a display attribute if you want tohave such a link.

System Response
The settings for attribute &V2& of characteristic &V1& are inconsistentand cannot be saved.

Procedure
If you want to link attribute &V2& of characteristic &V1& with a localattribute, enter the link in the data basis customizing settings. Makesure that the local attribute is defined as a selection attribute.
Otherwise, set attribute &V2& of characteristic &V1& as a selectionattribute.
