SAP Message UCM0123 - Characteristic &3 requires the role "field type transaction type"

Diagnosis If the characteristic with the roletransaction type has ahigher-level characteristic then this requires the role field typetransaction type. In data basis &V1&,characteristic &V2& has the role transaction type and is dependent oncharacteristic &V3&. However, role &V4& is not assigned to thischaracteristic. System Response The field catalog of data basis &V1& is inconsistent and cannot besaved. Procedure Make sure that characteristic &V2& has the role transaction type.Then assign the role field type transaction type tocharacteristic &V3&.
