Diagnosis
Check &V1& of validation method &V2& contains a syntax error. The causeof this error cannot be specified more precisely.

Procedure
Start the Consolidation Workbench (transaction UCWB).
In the process view of the workbench, choose Consolidation Functions-> Validation -> Method. From there, choose Display in thecontext menu.
Expand method &V2&.
In the context menu of validation check &V1&, choose Change.
In the formula editor area, choose Check.
The field, the operator, or the function with which the error occurredis highlighted in a different color.
Remove the cause of the error.
Save your changes.
