Diagnosis
While recording inventory data of consolidation unit &V1& and supplerdata of consolidation unit &V2& for product group &V3&, you eitherentered the inventory quantity in the inventory data or you entered thedistribution costs per measure of unit in the supplier data. But youdid not enter both.
The inconsistency is based on the second of the following two basicprocedures for calculating group cost of goods manufactured (COGM; afigure used in the elimination of IU P/L in inventory):
Calculation on the basis of supplier percentage rates
Calculation on the basis of inventory quantity and the COGM per unit ofmeasure
If either figure for the quantity-based calculation is missing, thesystem cannot calculate the group COGM and, thus, the IU profit/loss.
