Diagnosis
The Posting of Group Shares function uses statistical items,which you specify in the Customizing settings for selected items forconsolidation of investments. These items require a breakdown byquantity because the system posts the percentages of ownership of directshares and group shares to the quantity field.
However, in the data model used, the fields for quantity and unit ofmeasure are not available.

System Response
The Posting of Group Shares function cannot be executed.

Procedure
Instead of using the Posting of Group Shares function, use thelist of group shares. To do this, choose Analysis -> ListData -> Group Shares in the consolidation workbench(transaction UCWB).
