SAP Message UCF6098 - Appropr. of ret.earnings: Item &1 has an error in the location of values

Diagnosis
For the location of data you specified on tab page General
that equity data is to be read either

  • from the totals database or

  • from both the totals database and additional financial data

    • Furthermore, in theconsolidation area youdefined that appropriations of retained earnings are recorded in thebalance sheet.
    In this case, the items you specified under Appropriation ofRetained Earnings -> Distribution of Dividends and underAppropriation of Retained Earnings -> Bonus Payment either mustbe entered in location of data on tab page Equity for theactivity distribution of dividends, or these items may not beassigned to any other activity.
    In your case, item &V1& (which you specified under Appropriation ofRetained Earnings -> Distribution of Dividends or underAppropriation of Retained Earnings -> Bonus Payment) is assignedto activity &V2& for the location of equity data.

    Check the entries for the location of equity data and the entries underAppropriation of Retained Earnings on tab pages Distributionof Dividends and Bonus Payment.
