SAP Message UCF6068 - Equity method posting: Scope &3: Neg. investment BV has wrong item type

Diagnosis
The item and the offsetting item for the negative investment book value(which you specify under "Equity Method Posting" in the detail screenfor the scope of reported data) must have one of the followingcombinations of item types
:

  • Both items must have item type "Balance Sheet".

  • Both items must have item type "Statistical: Flow".

  • The item for the negative investment book value must have the item type
    • "Balance Sheet" and its offsetting item must have the item type "IncomeStatement".
    You specified items &V1& and &v2& for scope &V3&, but they do not fitinto the mentioned combinations.

    Procedure
    Either change the item types of items &V1& and/or &V2&, or do not usethese items.
