SAP Message U2026 - FM area &1 and controlling area &2 have different company codes

Diagnosis
The company codes assigned to controlling area &V1& are either

  • Not assigned to FM area &V2& or

  • Not activated in Funds Management.

    • System Response
    Controlling area &V1& cannot be assigned to FM area &V1&.

    Procedure
    First look under "Assign company code to financial managementarea" and "Assign controlling area to financial managementarea" in the Enterprise Structure implementation guide to checkwhich assignments you have made for the company codes.
    Change or enhance the assignments if necessary.
    Check under the "Activate/deactivate Funds Management" step inthe Funds Management implementation guide that the relevant companycodes are activated for Funds Management or else activate the companycodes.
