Diagnosis
You try to delete a site of type Data Collector. This is only possibleif the Data Collector is deassigned from all Mobile Clients it has beenassigned to.
This restriction prevents that data remains on the client afterdeletion.

Procedure
Remove the assigned Mobile Clients before the deletion:

• Go to the Tab 'Sites'. You find all Mobile Clients still assigned to the
Data Collector.

• Change to 'Change' mode. Mark all assinged sites and press the
'Deasssign' button. Save your changes.

• The sites will go to status 'Marked for Deletion' with additional
information 'Final Extracts Pending'

• Leave the 'Change' mode.


• Execute the Data Collector one last time. This can either be done by
waiting for the next scheduled processing, or via the following manualsteps:
Navigate to the Monitoring transaction (e.g. via button 'Monitoring').
Select the Data Collector (single click on the line of the DataCollector)
In the Menu 'Collector' choose 'Start Extraction', 'BackgroundProcessing'

• The process will send deletion messages to the sites you removed (the
messages are suppressed for inactive sites). Wait till this process iscompleted.

• Afterwards, delete the Data Collector in the Administration Console.
