Diagnosis Your subscription assignment or deassignment operation affects at leastone site which either acts as a copy original site or is defined as acopy to another site. System Response In a scenario where one or multiple sites are defined as copies ofanother site (the copy original site), subscription assignment anddeassignment operations always affect the whole group of sites, i.e. theoriginal site and all copies. It is not possible to assign subscriptionsto copied sites individually. On the surface it is possible to edit subscriptions both for theoriginal site and for the copies. Internally, however, the susbcriptionsare always attributed to the original site, with the copiesautomatically inheriting the assignments as copies. This is both truefor manual and generated subscriptions. Note: >
- Copies of the same site type as the original site will always inherit
all subscriptions of the original site. If the site type of a copydiffers (for example if the original site of type Mobile Client and thecopy is a Groupware site) the copy can only inherit those subscriptionswhich may be assigned to sites of this type.
- A subscription assignment to a site group (original site with copies)
will be handled by a single SUBCHECK process, independent of the numberof copies. Further information: >
- In contrast to subscription assignments, include relationships to
logical sites can be defined individually for copied sites also. Copiedsites inherit the includes from the original site and can additionallyhave their own includes.Procedure This message is only for information.
