Diagnosis
You are trying to delete an assignment between a site and asubscription of the CRM Middleware. The deletion is denied, because theassignment to be deleted is protected by a subscription generator.

Procedure
Ensure that the assignment is no longer needed. A deleted assignmentbetween a site and a subscription will be recreated by the subscriptionagent, if the assignment is needed by one active generator. If theassignment has to be deleted, do the following:

• Open the Administration Console (transaction SMOEAC) and select object
type Subscription Agent . Search for the subscription generatorprotecting the assignment and check that the assignment is no longerneeded.

• Change to edit mode, deactivate the checkbox for the assignment in
Protect Generated Objects and save your changes. Now, thedeletion is possible.

• If the protection of the generated objects is necessary, you have to
mark the assignment checkbox on the subscription generator maintenancescreen again.
