Diagnosis You are in the Administration Console and have selected a subscriptionby doubleclicking. This error will occur if there is a repository problem on your system. In detail you get this error, if for your subscription the publicationcannot be found on database. If you are using the AdministrationConsole for creating or deleting repository objects this error willhave normally the reason that on your system the industry flag waschanged before starting with the necessary clearings in the repository.Another reason can be that by an imported transport request thepublication for the subscription was deleted without having deleted thesubscription. Procedure Before changing the industry flag you have to delete all subscriptionsmaintained for this one. After the replication queues (transactionSMOHQUEUE) are all released you can change the industry flag andmaintain then the new subscriptions. Be careful: Changing the industry flag can have a big impact onyour system. Therefore you should not change it in a running system. The normal procedure is to decide first which industry flag will beused and then maintain the repository entries.> If the release of a transport with publication deletions causes thisproblem delete the subscription in the Administration Console. Be careful: The Administration Console cannot write jobs into thereplication queues for subscriptions having references to deletedpublications. As consequence the realignment process will not betriggered and delete messages will not be written into the outboundqueues. > |
