SAP Message SMOE_MESSAGE126 - Function module &1 does not exist in the system

Diagnosis
You tried to save a site in the Administration Console. The name of afunction module has been maintained as check function in thecustomizing of the site attributes. This check function does not existon your system. Therefore the processing is cancelled.

Procedure
Remember the site type of the site to be stored. You need to know thesite type ID (table SMW1SPRVDR) for this site type. Start transactionSM30 and select the table view SMW1SPRVDR for this purpose. You willfind an entry in the table view for your remembered site type ID . Thename of a function module is shown in column Check which does notexist. To solve the problem you:

  • either specify the correct name of the function module that checks the
    • correctness of the values for this site type,
    • or delete the function module name in column Check if a check is not
      • required (in this case the values will not be checked).
