Diagnosis
You tried to assign a new bulk replication object to a bulkpublication. The assignement is only possible for active publications.

Procedure
Leave the "Edit" mode of the publication. Press button "Activate".
Note: All inactive objects will be activated, not only yourpublication.
After the activation has finished successfully, you can try to assignyour replication object.
