SAP Message S)036 - An exception occured during internal number allocation

Diagnosis
The system cannot assign numbers for the schedule records whenscheduling. You possibly have not created any number range object forSequencing.

Procedure

  • Access the transaction for maintaining the number range
    • objects for Sequencing (LASN).
    • Choose Change interval and check whether you have created an
      • interval for the number range object in Sequencing LASP_OPID.
      • If no interval exists, add one by choosing Process -> Add
        • interval.
        • Then enter the Number 01 for the interval as well as a number
          • range of your choice.
          • Save your entries.
