SAP Message RZ380 - Server with update processes started, number cannot be changed to 0

Diagnosis This server was started according to the instance profile with updateprocesses. In operation mode switching, it is not possible to switchthe number of update processes to 0. Procedure In order not to have any more update processes running on this server,the instance profile must be changed and then the server restarted.
