Diagnosis
The remaining requirement quantity from the batch totals record remainsunconsidered and is not distributed to the individual batch records.

Procedure
The logic for distributing the remaining requirements quantity from thebatch totals record can be controlled using the message type of messageRU 551 (transaction OPJB):

• Message not maintained in OPJB (standard): Message RU551 is issued as an
S (success) message and the rest of the requirement quantity from thebatch totals record is distributed to the individual batch records.

• Message maintained in OPJB, message type = ' ' (initial), 'W' (warning)
or 'I' (info): Message RU551 is not issued and the remaining requirementquantity from the batch totals record is not distributed to theindividual batch records.

• Message maintained in OPJB, message type = 'E' (error): Message RU551
is not issued. However, the remaining requirement quantity from thebatch totals record is distributed to the individual batch records.
