Diagnosis
Displays the availability status of a specific instance in a systemthat is monitored for availbility. Below this MTE, you will findfurther monitoring MTEs that display:

• The instance status

The most recent reported status (active or inactive)

• The instance summary

The percentage of time that the instance was available over a specificperiod of time. This time period is specified in the customizingoptions of the instance summary MTE.

System Response
The alert monitor triggers a yellow alert if an instance is not active.You can specify which instances if any are to be monitored. To dothis, start the analysis method at any MTE in the Instances sub-tree.
Disabling the monitoring of instances has no effect on the monitoringof the system availability as such. While no instance MTEs will beprovided with availability values, the monitor will still reportwhether the system was available: the message server of the monitoredsystem reported that at least one instance was active.
