Diagnosis
Transactional RFC (tRFC, Remote Function Calls) is a facility fortransferring data between SAP systems or between an SAP system and anexternal component.

Procedure
This monitoring attribute shows the total number of transactional RFCcalls that are waiting to be carried out by this SAP system. These callsare RFC function module calls that are to be executed in another SAPsystem or external component. The number here includes all calls,regardless of their status. Other monitoring attributes break down thistotal according to call status, type, and age.
In general, there should be few or no calls waiting. Exceptions arepossible if, for example, calls are being sent to an external componentthat can process them only sequentially or if queued tRFC is being used.
In this case, a backlog of calls in status RECORDED (awaitingprocessing) may build up. As long as this backlog is reduced in atimely fashion this type of backlog is not a reason for concern.
