SAP Message RS_BCT_CRM_CXP001 - Description for rows marked red cannot be changed

Diagnosis
You have tried to change the description of an element which is markedred.
The line was marked red for one of two reasons:

  • The system was unable to determine the element type

  • A translation of a Query element is not available in the selected
    • language
    • The element is part of a Query, which has been created with BW 7.0 Query
      • Designer (or higher release), and the query element was specified asdefault text. In this case the query will retrieve the description formBW Metadata. For example the description of a characteristic will comefrom the description of the InfoObject.

      System Response
      The system will not allow you to change these descriptions

      Procedure
      If the query was created with the BW 7.0 Query Designer (or higherrelease), you can uncheck the default flag and maintain the descriptionwithin the query. Afterwards the the line will not be marked redanymore.
