Diagnosis
Not all the characteristic values entered in the filter dialog complywith the syntax of the underlying characteristic ( letters are usedwhen specifying a year, for example).

System Response
The filter entries were partially or completely removed.

Procedure
Call up the filter dialog again and check which entries were used.
