Diagnosis
You have changed the query definition.
The query has there been protected on the SAP BW system by an exclusivelock against changes by other users or processes. This ensures that theyou can save the query and its changes under the same name.
The lock is removed when you:

• Save the query


• Open another query


• Create a new query (with or without the wizard)


• Click on the 'Close' pushbutton in the Web item for ad-hoc query
design.
To ensure that the lock is removed and does not remain after youhave finished editing the query, do not close the browser window ornavigate away from the application before you have saved or closed thequery.

System Response
The query has been locked on the SAP BW system. The changed query canbe saved under the same name.
