Diagnosis
When 3.x workbooks are upgraded, the query areas, such as the resultset, navigation block, and text elements, are converted to thecorresponding design items in the 7.0 workbook. Similarly, thenavigation block area is converted to the navigation pane design item.However, this conversion was not possible because of errors thatoccurred.

System Response
Only the navigation block area is not upgraded and converted. All otherrelevant areas are converted and the workbook is partially upgraded.

Procedure
This could have been caused by corrupt data in the 3.x workbook. Werecommend that you open the workbook in the 3.x Analyzer and checkwhether it is possible to refresh the workbook. If you can refresh theworkbook successfully, deleting and reinserting the navigation block inthe workbook might help. You can do this as follows:
Select the range of cells for the navigation block in the workbook anddelete them by choosing Edit --> Delete. Then refresh thequery; the navigation block is rendered again. Save the workbook and tryupgrading it again in the 7.0 Analyzer.
If you cannot refresh the workbook successfully in the 3.x Analyzer, theworkbook is probably corrupt and needs to be repaired or recreated.
If you can refresh the workbook correctly in the 3.x Analyzer, but theproblem still occurs in the 7.0 Analyzer, you need to manually adjustthe navigation pane design item.
