Diagnosis @8R@ This is not neccessarily a problem!> Variable &V1& is a hierarchy node variable that is filled with the nodesauthorized for a user. Since a user can be authorized for multiple> nodes, the variableshould be able to handle multiple> nodes. This is only possible with a variable of selection type M (MultipleSingle Value). &V1& does not have this selection type.System Response If a node variable is of type P (Single Value), it is filled withonly one >node. If multiple nodes are authorized for a user, it isnot possible to predict which node this is. If only one node is authorized for all users, this situation will neverresult in a problem. In all other cases, however, the variablerepresents only some of the authorized values. This can result in aquery that does not display all authorized values. Note: This can never lead to a situation in which unauthorized data isdisplayed.Procedure If you get unexpected reporting results in the area of Authorizations, you are strongly recommended to correct the situation. To do so, createa new variable with selection type "M". Then replace variable &V1& withthe new variable in all applications (queries).Delete variable &V1&. There is no automatic correction available. |
