This test checks whether the entries in the SID table for 0UNIT liewithin valid interval limits. The interval limits are determined by thenumber range object BIM9999996. If the SID values lie below the interval limits, correct thissituation by executing a repair. The repair for SID table entries inInfoObject 0UNIT proceeds as follows:
If the SID values lie within the interval limits, no conversionis necessary. However, a simulation run that describes or checkspossible conversions of entries is started. If the SID values lie under, over, within and over, or within and underthe interval limits this test provides no means of repair. In this case,please contact SAP. To avoid errors occurring in the BW system, do not execute BW functionsduring a repair (staging and reporting in particular). If an error occurs during a repair, the BW system may be in aninconsistent state as a result. Take note of the error message in thelog and if necessary remove the cause of the error. A successfulrepair is confirmed with the message "SID conversion forInfoObject 0UNIT completed successfully". |
