Description The attribute SID tables (X- or Y table) for characteristic &V1& werechecked. The X table only exists with characteristics that containtime-independent navigation attributes. The Y table only exists whenthere are time-depenendent navigation attributes. In detail, thefollowing checks were carried out.
- Do all characteristic values in the X/Y table also appear in the P/Q
table of the characteristic?
- Do all characteristic values in the P/Q table also appear in the X/Y
table of the characteristic?
- Do all characteristic SIDs in the X/Y table also appear in the P/Q
table of the characteristic?
- Are the SIDs in the attribute columns of the X/Y table correct? The
system checks for each navigation attribute as to whether the value ofthe navigation attribute SID (in the corresponding column of the X/Ytable) matches the SID of the attribute value that contains theassociated data record of the P/Q table in the corresponding attributecolumn.Repairs In the repair mode, this test reconstructs the X/Y table when errorsare found in it. It may be that reconstruction does not solve the problem (or does notsolve it completely. This is always the case when the P/Q table of thischaracteristic contains attribute values for which no SIDs exist in theattribute SID tables. Such errors are found by the "Existence of Navigation Attribute Values"test. Execute this test and remove any errors that are found beforestarting this particular test in the repair mode. Note When the X/Y table needs to be reconstructed in the repair mode, thesystem examines which aggregates need to be reconstructed on the basisof the corrections. The user is given their names. If the user wants toreconstruct the X/Y table, these attributes are then deactivated. Theuser must reconstruct and fill these aggregates in aggregatemaintenance. In other words, reconstruction is not automaticallystarted by transaction RSRV.
