Description:
The text table of a characteristic has a characteristic value as a keyfield. The characteristic values that appear in this column of the texttable must also appear in the SID table for the characteristic.
Characteristic values from the text table found in this test that donot appear in the SID table do not impede the normal operation ofBusiness Information Warehouse. However, when you convertcharacteristic values that, in view of the conversion routine that youare using, are in an incorrect format, such characteristic values canlead to a short dump in the conversion program (seeConverting Inconsistent Internal CharacteristicValues (Transaction RSMDCNVEXIT)).

Repairs:
You can correct inconsistencies found in the test in the repair mode.New entries are then written into the SID table.
