Diagnosis
There are inactive hierarchies for characteristic &V1&. This is not anerror. However, it could be the case that a BW adminstrator forgot toactivate these hierarchies. Only the active versions of hierarchies arevisible in Reporting.

Procedure
You can activate the inactive hierarchies in the hierarchy maintenance(for example in transaction RSH1).
If a hierarchy is being used in aggregates, the system asks you whetheryou want to execute the aggregate change run immediately and activatethe hierarchy when it ends, or whether you want to mark the aggregatechange run to be exectued later.
