Description The number of entries in P>, X>, Q>, and Y>tables from the characteristic are compared. However, you need the sameamount of entries at any time.
X> and Y> tables contain the master data information forthe characteristic with internal keys instead of characteristic values. They are used in reporting. An inconsistency leads to incorrect numbersin reporting: Missing entries operate like (invisible) filters. Thecase of having more entries in the X> than in the P> table,or having more entries in the Q> than in the Y> table, should not occur and points to serious inconsistencies. Possible cause:System error when deleting master data.Note It is possible, although unlikely, that this test finds no errors, eventhough P> and X>, or Q> and Y> tables areinconsistent to each other.Repair The X> or Y> tables are rebuilt in the repair mode. Iferrors still exist after the repair, then this points to missingentries in the SID> tables for the navigation attributes for thecharacteristic. If you want to check this, use the (elementary) tests.
- Type-based initial values for the attribute
- Initial values in the
SID>- and master data tables for a characteristic.
