Description: After the tables are created on the database, an initial record>(also called an initial entry>) is written inthe SID> tables and in themaster data tables of a characteristic. This test checks whether there are valid initial records in theSID> tables and in the master data tables. Depending on themaster data table, an initial record has different forms:
- In a
SID> table, the initial record has the following structure: The value of the characteristic and (if the characteristicis compounded) the value of the higher-level characteristic are blank. The SID> field is also blank (=0). The three indicatorsCHCKFL>, DATAFL> and INCFL> have the value 'X >'.
- For initial records in a
P-table> all the fields areblank, with the exception of the OBJVERS> field, which has thevalue 'A>'.
- The initial record of a
Q-table> consists of blankfields, with the exception of OBJ>VERS = 'A', DATEFROM ='01.01.1000' and DATETO ='31.12.9999'.
- In a X-table> all the
fields are blank, with the exception of the OBJVERS> field, whichhas the value 'A>'.
- In a Y-table> all the
fields are blank, with the exception of the OBJVERS> field thatinitially has the value 'A'>, DATEFROM> = '01.01.1000 >' and DATETO> = '31.12.9999>'.Repairs: Missing initial records are generated in the repair mode.
