Diagnosis
Characteristic &V1& is compounded. To check whether one of thehigher-level characteristics is one of those used in the conversionroutine being examined here, the metadata for the higher-levelcharacteristics has to be read. While attempting to do this for thehigher-level characteristic &V2&, an error with error code &V3&occurred.
A frequent cause for this is that &V2& does not exist in an activeversion, or that the active version is inconsistent.

Procedure
Try &V2& to reactivate &V1& and, subsequently, reactivate &V1&likewise. If, in doing so, the problem is not resolved, send an errormessage to SAP.
