Diagnosis
An internal error has occurred in &V1& when editing characteristic &V2&
.
The error is serious and conversion cannot take place until the causeof the error has been removed. The cause is often an inconsistency inthe metadata of the characteristic.

Procedure
Try to activate the characteristic (and its super-ordinatecharacteristics, if applicable).
If you cannot correct the problem, report the error to SAP.
