V1 characteristics were found that use one of the affected conversionroutines and have invalid internal values in the MD ID table. In thecase of compound characteristics, invalid values can also arise amongstvalues of the superior characteristics.
The number of compound characteristics that are only affected viavalues for superior characteristics is &V2&.
There are &V3& characteristics with collisions of keys in the MD IDtable.
By definition, valid internal values are values that are found in thevalue set of the function module that converts external into internalformat.
For this reason, these characteristics must be converted. Duringconversion, the invalid values are given the correct format and arereplaced in the areas accessible to BW. Collisions which may result areremoved. The way in which these collisions are removed depends on theapplication. You should refer to it directly.
