Diagnosis
You have used more than one asterisk as a wildcard. The system assumesthat you want to set the validity to always valid, meaning thatyou want to set the wildcard #*# (asterisk).

Procedure
If you want to use more complicated patterns, use "+" (plus) as thewildcard for exactly one character. For two-digit dates, use two pluscharacters.
