In the step "Create a BIA Index for an InfoCube", the indexes for thetables of the InfoCube star schema are created on the BIA server if theywere not already created by other BIA indexes. The tables are the Fact and Dimension tables of the InfoCube as well asthe required SID-bearing master data tables, that is S, X, and Y tablesof the InfoObjects. A "logical index" is also created; it contains the metadata of the BIAindex. After creating the BIA index in a dialog process, you must schedule thefilling of the BIA index in background processing. |
