Description
The test checks the SAP NetWeaver BI Accelerator indexes of one or moreInfoCubes for negative IDs or IDs that are larger than those in thedatabase. In doing so, the DIMIDs of the fact index and of the dimensiontables are checked as well as the SIDs of dimension indexes and S, X,and Y indexes. For the check, in the BI system, the interval is read inwhich a DIMID or a SID of a certain table must lie. The correspondingindexes of the SAP NetWeaver BI Accelerator are then checked todetermine whether the DIMIDs and SIDs lie within this interval.
This check is relatively fast. It can therefore be carried out as thefirst plausibility check to find out which index, if any, containsinvalid DIMIDs or invalid SIDs.
An InfoCube can be specified as an input parameter. If no InfoCube isspecified, all InfoCubes are checked for which BIA indexes are active.

Repair
If the test shows that DIMIDs or SIDs for a certain index lie outsidethe interval, this index must be rebuilt. If the problem is not solvedby rebuilding the index, inform SAP support.
