Description
In this test, the system compares the definitions of each of the indexesfor a BIA index with the current versions of the database tables. Thesystem checks whether the number, name, and type of the table fields inthe database match the definition for the index on the BI acceleratorserver.
An index can have changed if, for example, the InfoCube was changed. Ifthis is the case, the BIA index has to be repaired (see test "BIA IndexAdjustments After InfoCube Activation").
Note that if you do not specify an InfoCube, the system executesthe test for all InfoCubes that have a BIA index.

Repair
If an index has changed, the old index is deleted and the new index iscreated with the correct definition and filled. Note that this processcan take some time, depending on the size of the table. All BIA indexesthat use this index are set to "inactive" and are not available forreporting during this time.
