Diagnosis
The repartitioning of the InfoProvider is not possible with the selectedediting option because mass data has to be copied.
Example:
With InfoCubes for non-cumulatives, all markers are located in eitherthe lowest or the top partition. Depending on the editing option, thesemarkers can then be copied into the new partitions.

Procedure
Use the partitioning option 'Complete Repartitioning'.
