Diagnosis The currently selected adapter &V2& for the current DataSource returnsdata fully typed in the internal format. For this reason, classifyingthe format as external> is not useful for &V1&. The format willnot be converted to the internal format. This may even result in a loss of data if the data in the source isavailable in an external format which is not compatible with theinternal format in terms of type or length since the adapter expects toreceive the internal format from the source. Exceptions:
- The data type is CURR
- The data type is CHAR, CUKY, or UNIT and
an ALPHA conversion exit is specified the length is the same as the external (output) length and - a conversion exit is specified - you want to perform a conversion to uppercase lettersProcedure Choose a different adapter or change the format specified for &V1& tointernal> and make sure that the data is available in the internalformat in the source.
