Diagnosis
If the data is stored in the PSA in character format, only those fieldsthat exist in internal format in the source can be released for theselection in the InfoPackage.
The reason for this is that the selections are evaluated in internalformat before they are saved in the PSA. If the data exists in externalformat and is written to the PSA, the data will most probably not berecognized.

System Response
The function continues but a selection of the field &V1& in theInfoPackage returns incorrect results.

Procedure
Do not release the field for selection, or select the internalformat for this field, or deselect Character PSA.
