In this step, you select the users and the corresponding authorizations.
Users who are entered as users in this step have access to BIA datausing BusinessObjects Polestar. This access can be restricted by meansof an authorization. It is only possible to assign one authorization toeach user. A filter is created from this authorization. This filterrestricts every Polestar query made by this user for the particularInfoProvider. You can create the authorization in transaction RSECADMIN.
Restrictions to hierarchy nodes that are defined in the authorizationscannot be displayed in BusinessObjects Polestar. Therefore they areignored when the filter is defined.
