The master data with characteristic value '&v1&' contains smallletters. Since the characteristic value is used in the master data as akey, this will cause problems, since capital and small lettersrepresent different keys on the database.

System Response
Posted transaction data for this characteristic value is possibly notevaluated in reporting.
For example, transaction data with the name 'SMITH' and 'Smith' hasbeen posted. A query is now executed and thus limited to the name'SMITH', ONLY the transaction data posted for this characteristic valueis selected. On the other hand, summarized using the name, ALL postedtransaction data is used.

Procedure
You can correct all keys (convert into capitals) by starting thecorrection in the entry screen with 'Repair error'. Consequently, alldependent objects are corrected. It is possible that this can last along time, since a characteristic can, for example, be used in a greatmany InfoCubes.
