Diagnosis
The operation is invalid if it does not meet the criteria for thefollowing operations:
Add characteristic : The new InfoObject specified must be acharacteristic. The InfoObject type must match the type of dimension towhich the InfoObject is added.
Example: Time characteristics can only be added to time dimensions.Units can only be added to units ,,dimensions and so on.
Add key figure : The new InfoObject specified must be a key figure.
Delete characteristic : The InfoObject specified must be acharacteristic.
Delete key figure : The InfoObject specified must be a key figure.
Replace characteristic : The new InfoObject specified must be acharacteristic and its type must match the type of the InfoObject beingreplaced.
Example: Time characteristics can only replace time characteristics andso on.
The old InfoObject, that is the InfoObject that is being replaced, mustalso be a characteristic.
Replace key figure : The new InfoObject and the InfoObject that is to bereplaced must be key figures.
